Cormac Davey

 M Ed. School Leadership and Planning

Cormac is from Co Kildare, Ireland. A teacher of History, Politics & Society and Religious Education, Cormac has worked with the Professional Development Service for Teachers (PDST) with whom he promoted the improvement of Teaching and Learning in schools throughout Ireland. He has worked in his subject areas, while also facilitating professional development in the areas of Formative Assessment and Team Teaching for the inclusion of students of all needs. Cormac has over 20 years’ experience of teaching in Ireland, China, and Italy. While in Italy he worked as Deputy Head of St. Louis High School, Milan. He gained experience of EAL learning during his time in Shandong, China. Having lectured student teachers at University Level in the National University of Ireland, Galway, Cormac is a firm believer in the role of a teacher as one to facilitate student centered learning. Cormac is currently engaged in research for a PhD in Education.

Our honorable guest will be interviewed by John Bayramian (Head of Education at Hua Quan Village). John has more than 33 years of international academic leadership and pedagogical/administrative experiences in various programs such as International Baccalaureate (IB), American, British, French Programs across USA, Europe and the Middle East.
