Weather

There are four distinct seasons that run through the region. From March to May, spring flowers dot the mountainside with vibrant colors. Summer begins in June and lasts through August with temperatures in the high 80s and 90s. The beauty of nature is accentuated by an overwhelming number of days with clear blue skies. Autumn is refreshing as the summer heat dissipates and cooler temperatures inspire fall greenery to come alive. The winter cold is mellow and tempered. Since the area rarely gets cold enough for snow, the historic mountains can be visited all year round.
