From early childhood on, Steffen Jüenemann always wanted to bring joy to people by using pen and paper. Ever since then, painting has captured his heart. In his early twenties, Steffen had the opportunity to create illusion painting on the walls of his community hall. This confirmed the choice of his career path. He first decided to pursue an education in a skilled trade, so he learned how to be a professional toolmaker, which gave him the ability to refine precise work skills. These defined skills also brought Steffen great advantage when he later on worked for an advertising agency in Muenster, specializing in digital imaging and 3D visualization.

While Steffen had the opportunity to become a private student of John Pugh, one of the most renowned Trompe-l’oeil artists in the USA, he dedicated himself to this art form and has been devoted to it since 2007. It makes him feel accomplished when he can bring joy to people through sharing his artwork and new perspectives. Using Trompe-l’oeil as a very powerful tool for communicating with a very large audience, Steffen wants to build bridges between different cultures within a society – without a visit to the museum.

Super G Team is an artistic duo, represented by Nikolay Dimitrov and Daniel Dubarov from Bulgaria. The two artists met each other at the National Art School for Applied Arts in Sliven, Bulgaria. There, they completed their first mural project together. Nikolay studied mural painting at the University of Veliko Tarnovo, and Daniel studied visual communications at the National Art Academy in Sofia.

Super G Team was formed in 2010. The name comes from super graphics, a style that represents large graphics that are applied with vibrant colors, usually in geometric shapes,

over walls or other architectural environments to create the illusion of altered space. They try to put their own touch on super graphics, sometimes mixing more realistic drawings with geometrical shapes as the background.

Nikolay and Daniel have completed many murals commissioned by the municipality of Burgas, Bulgaria and have traveled around the world to different countries, including Australia, Austria, China, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, and Lithuania.

Marina Zumi came into contact with the street art scene early on and was one of the initial participants in formative group street art experiments called Expression Sessions in Buenos Aires. One of the few female artists to take her work into the streets of the city, Marina comes to street art from a background in the field of fashion design which has contributed to the development of a unique style that is colorful and feminine.

Taking inspiration from nature, the cosmos, sacred geometry, and from her day to day life, Marina combines idealized versions of flowers, trees and animals in the creation of her own natural bioluminescent landscapes.

Demonstrating an incredible level of skill in her use of aerosol, her pieces are crafted with an impressive amount of precision and detail. Using a palette of pastel colors, Marina develops graceful murals which provide oases of serenity amidst the crowded and noisy city streets. Discovering one of her pieces delicately draped across a crumbling concrete wall brings to mind ideas of peace, purity, and joy.

Marina’s art is an excellent example of the power of street art to positively affect urban landscapes and our interactions with them. Currently residing in Berlin, Marina continues to develop both independent and collaborative works on the streets and in gallery settings.

“Marat Morik’ Danilyan is a street artist, graphic designer and illustrator from Russia. Born in 1982 in Novosibirsk, Marat has been interested in drawing since childhood, and studied basic artist skills at the art school for children. He earned his two bachelor’s degrees in philology and economics from the Novosibirsk State University, but has fully dedicated his life to arts. In 1998 with the popularization of the Internet Marat has learned about the hip-hop culture and developed passion for graffiti. As a result he has developed spray painting skills and took a great interest in experimenting with letter shapes.

In his recent works Marat pays great attention to patterns, as well as mixing painting techniques and materials on different surfaces. His versatile art comprises both figurative topics and abstract compositions. Oftentimes in Marat’s works abstract forms are mixed with realism, expressionism and typography elements. In 2011 he established the First Graffiti Agency (FGA) together with Andrey Aber. Within this agency Marat does commercial work both all over Russia and abroad.”

Seung Lee is a Korean-American contemporary artist. He is currently Director of Fine Arts and Graduate Studies as well as Professor at Long Island University, Post Campus. He received a BFA in Drawing from Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland and an MFA in Painting from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.

His paintings, drawings, and large-scale installations have been exhibited extensively in the US as well as internationally: China, Italy, France, Japan, and Korea. He has received numerous reviews in the New York Times, Newsday, Kyoto Times, Korea Daily News, Art Word Magazine, Art in Culture Magazine, Art Price Magazine, and Art and People Magazine and has been featured in “Artist Profiles of Korea and Japan” several times.

Many of the subjects and materials in his works are discovered on the street or in other surroundings: wood scraps, dishes, tree roots, broken TVs, VCRs, and other found materials. Seung Lee assembles those things for which he has strong feelings with enthusiasm and integrity. Those objects seem to have a history, which is compelling to him. He often feels like he is translating a statement they are making through different media — video installation, painting, assemblage sculpture, photograph, and drawing. The symbols in his works are also based on discovered objects, such as columns, trees, dishes, chairs, game boards, etc, which he has a particular interest in because of their relationship to society and the environment. To Seung, discarded objects directly comment on the wasteful and disposable nature of society. His recent work deals with the creation of an inventive environment, which provides the viewer with an opportunity to share in a vision of environmental and social downfall and hopefully inspire them to reflect on their own experiences and concerns.

Social Creatives sent a team consisting of Faris Basharahil, Rebekah Anthony, Liyana Zainudin, Rahmat bin Buang, Siti Hawa and Renny Normala to participate in the Miracle Project. Social Creatives is a non-profit social enterprise that promotes heART in eARTh. It is registered under Institute of Public Character.

The organization focuses on community art in order to promote public art, beautify Singapore, and address social issues both in Singapore and around the world. The members believe that a picture speaks a thousand words and hope to inspire the community by creating public art.
